A trip to the dentist may be most people’s idea of a living nightmare.

But according to a leading eye surgery based in Edinburgh and Glasgow, patients have more fear about visiting their practice than treating their gnashers.

Laser Vision Scotland are specialists in refractive cataract surgery and laser eye surgery, and admit most of their patients feel nervous before visiting – but leave “feeling like they’ve had a spa treatment,” explained surgeon Jonathan Ross.
